Keeping the awning clean is extremely important, and the water by itself might not do the trick. If you want to keep the canvas clean, without any marks which could damage or rip it, Isabella recommends this biodegradable spray. This treatment can be conducted at any time of the year. One bottle of this product will cover a medium-sized full awning (approx. G16).
Instructions:
Always begin by brushing the surface without using water. Then dampen with plenty of water and brush with a wet brush. Once it is completely wet, spray IsaClean All-Year directly onto the surface. Brush with a wet brush. Next, rinse with plenty of water until all residue has been rinsed off. If the surface is heavily soiled, repeat the treatment until the desired result has been achieved, or use IsaClean Season.
Finish:
After cleaning with IsaClean All-Year, it may be necessary to re-proof the awning. Isabella recommends AquaTex reproofing spray. After spraying, it will be easier to keep the surface clean of algae, watermarks and other elements.
